Dear Silver Springs Apartments,

On February 15th, maintenance came in to fix my washer.  He came in the same day of the service request, did an excellent job as usual, and provided a very detailed description of the problem and how it was resolved.  He even replaced a broken laundry door knob while he was there that I hadn't even requested.  I very much appreciated his fast and thorough work. 

I am happy to share the good word about the great staff at Toonen Properties.  They seem to genuinely care about the residents and demonstrate it continually by their actions, as I have described in the paragraph above.  This is the best managed apartment I have ever lived in, and I have recommended Toonen Properties to many people whom I work with at my job.  Thanks very much!

Today, maintenance adjusted the front door of my apartment because the lock was no longer working properly.  As always, he did an excellent job.  This reminded me of how much I appreciate his knowledge and abilities, and personality, over the years that I have been here at Silver Springs Apartments.  What a great asset he is to the company and residents.  He is prompt, knows just what to do and is extremely quick and pleasant and professional.

We loved our Timber Springs apartment from day one.  The building was professionally maintained, the grounds were beautiful and meticulously kept, our apartment was quiet, and we had all the amenities we were looking for (especially the dishwasher and full size washer and dryer).  We loved the conveniences close by and enjoyed calling it our home.  We highly recommend Toonen Properties to all our apartment seeking friends.  Who knows, maybe you will see us again!

I'd just like to say thank you.  The apartment (at Timber Springs) is fantastic.  Everything is top notch.  I was told when I moved in of the quality of craftsmanship etcetera.  It was all true.

Hello.  I live in the Quarry Park Apartments...I would like to make one thing certain.  I would like to say thank you for working so hard to make the apartment parking lots (and walkways) so clear and smooth from the snow that we had received from the snow storm a few days ago.  My mom and my sister both live in different apartment complexes (not Toonen), I was at both of their apartments on Sunday, and I really have something to be proud of.  Needless to say, it looks NOTHING compared to here, at Toonen.  The work done with the snow removal is unbelievable and for the most part is safe and looks very nice.  The snow removal is not the only thing that we have been satisfied with since living here.

I have really enjoyed living at Scheuring Heights.  Eveyone has been extra helpful and friendly.  Maintenance repairs have been fixed within 24 hours or less - compared to my last place when I waited months.  The office staff has always been accomodating to my needs and always has the answers.  I enjoy the clean hallway and attractive entrance into my building.  I will really miss the complex and the pool/clubhouse.  We used the pool everyday since it opened and I will miss that.  The snow removal in the winter is appreciated and the promptness too.  I will definitely recommend Toonen Properties to anyone who is looking at apartments.  Thank you for all you do here to make Scheuring Heights a great place to live!

I lived at The Shores for more than three years.  Right from the beginning, staff members were always friendly, helpful, and quick to answer any questions.  The apartment itself is great.  I originally picked it because of the beautiful wood cabinets in the kitchen, along with matching wood trim on doors.  The high ceilings are also a plus.  Over the years, I have also come to appreciate my garage, which has protected my car from many a harsh Green Bay winters!  I highly recommend this complex to anyone from a college student to young professional, to someone newly retired.

Dear Tina (Green Bay Manager) & Staff,

I just want to say thank you for all that you do for us!  We get busy and forget to let others know we appreciate what they do for us.  Tina and her staff are always so friendly and helpful when you call or stop in with questions; Bob and his building maintenance staff are always so prompt when a problem arises in our apartments; and Chris with his grounds maintenance staff do a wonderful job keeping everything cut and trimmed all summer long and put in long hours plowing and removing snow seven days a week if needed.  The sidewalks are kept salted and free of ice which I greatly appreciate (I put alot of miles on them walking!) I talk to other friends and have visited their complexes and have seen first hand other landlords are not as prompt with maintenance; so every chance I get, I let people know who I rent from and what they do to make my life easier.  Thanks again for all you do!

I moved into Scheuring Heights on June 1st of 2008. While living in Madison, I planned on moving to the Green Bay area, because of family. I found the Toonen web site extremely informative and easy to use. My email was answered immediately in regards to the many questions I had concerning the rental property. The office staff is extremely efficient in everything they do. I chose Toonen properties, because of the cleanliness, apartment layout, rural setting, and the many amenities offered. The staff is very friendly, and helpful. Any problems or concerns are addressed quickly, with excellent results. They keep the grounds beautiful during summer, and being a Yooper originally, I am impressed with the quick removal of snow. Another plus is the diversity of age, ethnic origin, and cultural differences. Scheuring Heights is truly a great place to call home.

We have resided at the Cedar Lake location for twelve and on-half years. We chose this apartment complex because of the over-all appearance. The grounds, and the buildings appeared to be well maintained. We have not been disappointed. The courtesy and concern of the entire staff has been superb. No problem is too big or too small for them to solve. You are always greeted with a smile. The maintenance staff fills your request within the same day in a courteous manner. The grounds are well maintained on a weekly basis. The snow removal is prompt. We have found this to be a safe and quiet place to enjoy our retirement.

I will gladly write a letter singing the praises of living at Cedar Lake Apartments.  I have lived at Cedar Lake since 1999 and LOVE living yards away from the lake.  Swimming in the lake every summer, visiting with all my neighbors, picnics - who needs a cottage?  Having the beautifully decorated clubhouse available when I have company is another added bonus.

The staff is so courteous and caring with any of my concerns.  When I do have a maintenance request it is many times responded to immediately.  It impresses me that the same employees have worked here since 1999.  Quite frankly, as I drive around Green Bay and DePere, I can always identify a Toonen property by the beauty of the landscaping and impeccable maintenance of the grounds.  Every year I see the crews working diligently to keep the grounds looking perfect-edging, adding wood chips, flowers, even corn stalks to celebrate fall and lights on the trees to celebrate the holidays.  I'm always amused after the crews finish mowing, somone goes around with a blower to get any grass clippings off the patios and sidewalks.  Now, that is paying attention to detail!

I feel completely safe here, enjoy the wonderful people who share the property with me and feel the monthly rent makes living at Cedar Lake the best housing choice for me.

This is my first time living in an apartment complex, yet here the Toonen staff makes you feel welcome and wanted, just like extended family. Everyone on the staff is friendly because that's who they are, not because it's part of their job.  This has become my home, and I thought I'd only be here a short time.  The property is always clean and well kept, and the parties and other activities the staff puts on are wonderful ways to meet your neighbors in the fast-paced world we all live in.
